Our marketing team works across all of our lines of business as well as with our service provider network to support our clients and their customers with their vehicles. We drive the understanding, awareness and success of our products and services. A clear in-depth understanding of market, industry and competitive dynamics is needed to fuel the larger marketing team, our client success teams and our business at large. We are hiring a Marketing Insights Specialist to support this effort.

**Key Outcomes**:

- **Primary Market Research**:Mystery shopping, direct interviews and surveys, vendor management for larger research projects
- **Secondary Market Research**: Trend monitoring, competitors and market dynamics
- **Data Analysis and Insights**: Adept at working with large internal, industry and research data sets to evaluate hypotheses, glean insights, and develop compelling, data-driven narratives
- **Strong Presentation Skills**: Work cross functionally, sharing insights with different audiences and clearly articulating findings to influence business strategy
- **Subject Matter Expert**: Support the broader Agero team in client-facing efforts with clear, crisp, competitive positioning, industry landscape and insights

**Essential Functions**:

- Design, update and continuously refine research on industry landscape including competitors, technologies, and macro trends
- Conduct primary market research to support strategic initiatives including survey design, interview guide development, interview stakeholders, mystery shopping, etc.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving to gather, model, or estimate data that may not be available through typical research methods
- Assist in managing external research vendors and associated processes as required
- Combine internal and external data with insights from third-party research and industry experts
- Produce high quality, well structured reports and presentations that synthesize insights and support decision making
- Provide ad-hoc competitive research summaries in support of business needs
- Work with cross-functional teams to build insights repository and research roadmap
- Scope and attend relevant industry events to build and maintain industry expertise

**Education, Experience, & Skills**:
**Education**:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

**Experience**:

- 3-5 years experience in marketing or market research, with direct experience in competitive intelligence and analysis
- B2B experience required, B2B2C preferred
- Analytical skills, extensive experience in Google Sheets/XLS, BI tools etc.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong consultative skills
- Project management skills

- Strong logical and critical thinking skills to deconstruct complex problems and navigate ambiguity with mínimal guidance
- Comfortable with B2B2C, tech and service industries
- Ability to multi-task and work cross-functionally

- Roll up your sleeves attitude for unexpected efforts and initiatives needed to support broader marketing team and business at large
- Strong familiarity with research tools and software
