**Job Summary**

Cake decorator needed. This is a part time position, allowing up to 29 hours per week.

Produce and finish bakery products of good, consistent quality at the direction of the Bakery Manager and consistent with policies.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Provide exceptional service, courtesy, and friendliness to all customers.
- Maintain presentable and adequately filled cake case.
- Bake sufficient quantities of cake to fill orders and shelves. Finish products as required to meet the need of maintaining the merchandising standards.
- Maintain quality and freshness standards.
- Wrap, package, and price all products accurately and legibly.
- Assist manager in training apprentices to level of journeyman.
- Answer phone and take special orders.
- Maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance at all times.
- Maintain a regular cleaning and sanitation program.
- Perform other duties and assignments as directed.
- Observe policies and procedures established for the department and comply with state health regulations.
- Must wear hat, hairnet, or hair restraint; plastic gloves and any other item required by government sanitation regulations or company policy.

**Qualifications and Skills**

Prior decorating experience is needed.
