**Prototype/Sample Technician**

New England Wire Products is the leading full-service provider of POP retail display merchandising solutions that help leading retailers and CPG companies maximize point-of-sale impact and convert shoppers into buyers.

The Sample Technician will work closely with Engineers and Sample shop team to provide high quality custom display prototypes. The delivered prototypes will be used for the Sales team to show to prospective customers the developed custom displays. In both instances, well-constructed and aesthetically pleasing prototypes are required daily to ensure New England Wire Products can sustain its unprecedented company growth.

**Essential Job Functions**:

- Assemble and ship product samples to prospective customers.
- Construct product samples for internal testing.
- Propose modifications, solutions and next steps in alignment with internal and external customers.
- Gather materials needed from factory.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Receive and process sample material orders effectively
- Manage inventory needed for sample making, or special projects
- Assist with creating prototype reports
- Participate in team meetings and projects
- Assist production packaging department with help if needed.
- Will perform all other duties as assigned

**Education**:High school degree or GED.

**Experience**:

- Experience in the packaging industry preferred.
- Experience with reading CAD drawings & BOM preferred

**Shift/Hours**:9am-6pm (exceptions may apply)

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
