**Core Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities and tasks are written as follows:

- Set up and tear down injectors.
- Complete Nitrite paperwork.
- Complete Salometer and Pickle Temp Log.
- Collect pump data (weight of belly’s before & after injection).
- Input pump data & complete pickle % excel sheet for each product ran.
- Clean injector and filters.
- Adjust injectors as needed to ensure target pump percentage is acquired, within control limit set.
- Report and/or diagnose problems to lead/supervisor.
- Recognize and/or diagnose problems to lead/supervisor.
- Recognize and provide help with mechanical problems or breakdowns.
- Remove, replace and repair bent or damaged needles.
- Effectively determine, communicate and complete pickled changes with lead, pickle maker, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader and Supervisor.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

- Computer proficient.

- Pen, Worksheets, Excel, Nitrate Stips, Salometer, Beaker, Thermometer, Wrenches, Hex Keys, LOTO

- The majority of the time is spent in the plant environment and will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals.
- Noise level is loud in the production area and hearing protection is always required.
- Must be able to lift up to 60lbs repeatedly.

**Safety Equipment/Training Requirements**:

- Bump cap, hair/beardnet, eye protection/goggles, hand protection, hearing protection, safety shoes, face shield.

**Mandatory Training/Requirement**:

- Proper lifting, PPE, LOTO, Chemical specific, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office
