Roadrunner Steel is a processor of steel master coils, slit coils, and sheets sold to many different manufacturers in the mining, commercial storage racking, automotive and aerospace industries. **What does a Material Handler do?**

The Material Handler-Forklift Driver is an essential part of our production operations team at the Glendale plant. In this position, you will utilize a **sit-down forklift** to move raw materials and finished goods throughout the warehouse.

You will work as part of a team, communicating and collaborating with each other to ensure efficiency.

**Responsibilities**:

- Banding slit material on mandrel.
- Installing setups on tension stand and overarm.
- Hooking up material into recoiler.
- Ensuring proper alignment between setups.
- Confirming proper pressure is applied to material at tension stand.
- Cutting steel banding.
- Hooking trim up to scrap winder.
- Changing out felt pads at tension stand.
- Safely extracting material from recoiler mandrel.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work area.
- Additional duties as required.

**What are the qualifications required?**
- Must have a high school diploma or its equivalency
- Experience working in manufacturing or distribution center
- Ability to safely operate equipment
- Detail oriented with good organization and time management skills

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
