In need of a Day Porter/ Maintenance Helper position for a Property Management Company serving a residential apartment building in Rockville, MD. Must be dependable, fast-paced, motivated, and able to work with mínimal supervision. Must have current valid driver's license, no criminal record, and willing to do a background check. Must be able to lift/carry 40lbs-50lbs. Ability to understand English. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining exterior of the property daily, providing clean and acceptable curb appeal at all times, assist maintenance manager with apartment turnovers i.e. drywall repair, painting, repairing leaky appliances and any other building operations as needed. Manager will train. Qualifications/ will train/: - General maintenance/handyman experience - Knowledge of minor electrical repair, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and painting (but not needed) - Familiarity with various appliances - Ability to respond to after-hour emergencies as needed.

Compensation: $14.00/ hr
