Job Summary:
**Duties**:

- Effectively assist Executive Director with all aspects of tourist programs of Parke County Incorporated
- Effectively assist Executive Director with all aspects of annual Parke County Covered Bridge Festival, Parke County Maple Fair, Dine on a Covered Bridge & any other PCI-sponsored events
- Ability to work with various heads of other community organizations & committees effectively & cooperatively, including but not limited to other business owners, city & county government, law enforcement, churches, private citizens & any other regional, state &/or federal agencies relating to our field of endeavor
- Effectively attend & participate as needed at various civic meetings, including but not limited to, PCI Board of Directors, Convention & Visitors Commission, MainStreet Rockville, Parke County Chamber of Commerce & Parke County Commissioners & any other community organization relating to tourism & hospitality
- Effectively provide visitors with appropriate information & brochures, keeping all racks stocked
- Prepare & distribute information & brochures for mailing per guest request
- Effectively coordinate with local, regional & state contacts to replenish information & brochures for the Parke County Visitors Center (a/k/a “The Depot”)
- Proactively sell retail merchandise, keeping displays stocked with additional merchandise
- Maintain & balance cash register
- Maintain & track multiple metrics, including but not limited to daily visitors, retail merchandise sales, membership records & others as assigned
- Accurately, neatly & clearly documenting & maintaining records
- Assist all PCI personnel with general office procedures & work projects as needed both onsite & offsite
- Effectively assist with training of new employees as needed
- Effectively pay attention to detail for extended periods of time
- All other duties as assigned

**Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
