We are looking for a licensed pharmacy technician that will be working with our team to improve patient care. You must be detail-oriented and reliable. This role requires experience and troubleshooting skills. You must be an excellent communicator as well as have an aptitude for using computers. You role may vary based on your strengths and skills. We are open 9:00am to 5:30pm Mon - Fri (30min lunch).
- Strong work ethic
- Greet customers and answer questions
- Receive prescriptions and check their validity
- Process prescriptions electronically and ensure all information is complete and accurate
- Resolve issues when they arise (e.g. rejected insurance claims)
- Select the appropriate medicine and measure dosages to fill prescriptions
- Sort, stock, label medication and monitor inventory
- Undertake administrative or other operational tasks as assigned
- Comply with all security measures and quality standards
- Operate point of sale, perform curbside delivery and prepare home deliveries.
- Conduct services to the fullest extent of your license to provide superior patient care

**Skills**
- Experienced pharmacy technician
- Knowledge of medication and dosage measurement
- Knowledge of basic pharmacy law and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Reliable with a keen eye for detail
- Licensed Board of Pharmacy Pharmacy Technician (Certified Preferred)
- Bilingual Spanish (preferred)
- PioneerRx Pharmacy Management System (current pharmacy software)
- Parata Max 2, Eyecon, or RapidPak Experience (current technology)

- Pharmacy Technician Experience: 3 years (preferred)
- Customer Service: 3 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- CA Board of Pharmacy Technician License (required)
