**Position Summary**

As the General Manager, you will be the heart and soul of our cafe, steering the ship towards success. Your role is crucial in overseeing the daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining an inviting atmosphere. You’ll not only manage operations but also inspire our team to achieve and exceed their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of cafe operations from opening to closing. Ensure all staff are fully trained, operations are efficient, and the cafe is always clean, stocked, and ready for business.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and motivate staff members. Schedule shifts, conduct performance reviews, and provide ongoing training and support to ensure a high level of employee engagement and development.
- Customer Satisfaction: Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure all guests have a positive, memorable experience. Address customer feedback with empathy and efficiency.
- Financial Management: Work closely with the owner to manage the cafe's budget, control inventory, and ensure financial targets are met. Analyze sales reports and create strategies for sales growth.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Maintain a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Marketing and Community Engagement: Collaborate with marketing to enhance the cafe’s presence and reputation. Participate in community events to promote the brand and build strong community ties.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Café Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar managerial role.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations including food and beverage management.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and decisively under pressure.
- Passionate about customer service and creating a welcoming cafe atmosphere.
- Proficient in MS Office and POS systems.
- Relevant training (e.g., BS in Hospitality Management) or certifications (e.g., ServSafe) is a plus.

Pay: $46,374.00 - $48,191.00 per year
