Alarm Technician

**Location**:Williamstown, NJ

**Role Summary**:
GCSI Security Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Alarm Technician to join our dynamic team. As a crucial member of our organization, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems, security systems, CCTV, access control systems, and related equipment.

**Pay Range**:$20 - $40 per hour (based on experience and certifications)
**Shift**:Full-Time (Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm). Weekly on-call rotation.

**About the Position**:

- Experience in all phases of low voltage alarm systems including installation, programming, and troubleshooting of security systems, fire alarm systems, access control systems and CCTV systems
- Install, set up, service and configure security systems, such as CCTV cameras, access control systems, motion detectors, and alarm systems
- Mount and program devices and panels
- Provide training and support to clients and end-users on operating and maintaining installed alarm and security systems
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, inspections, and tests on alarm and security systems to ensure optimal performance

**Basic Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Alarm Technician for commercial and residential systems
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel as required (NJ and PA)
- Excellent communication

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- NICET Certification
- TWIC Certification
- Network design and implementation

**Systems We Service Include**:

- Security (DMP, Honeywell, Resideo, Napco, DSC, GE/Interlogix)
- Fire (Honeywell, Fire Lite, Silent Knight, Napco, DMP)
- Access Control (Kantech) - Installation of mag locks and door strikes is preferred
- CCTV - IP and Analog (American Dynamics, LTS, HikVision)
