Pere Marquette River Lodge is an Orvis endorsed fly fishing, lodge, guide service and outfitter in Baldwin, MI. We believe the best days are those spent on the river. It is our mission to help make those days the best they can be for our clients. Whether they stop in the shop to pick up some flies, or they go out with one of our guides, we are here to help
Being able to effectively assist clients requires first-hand knowledge of The Pere Marquette River, the successful applicant will be expected to spend much of his/her off-duty time fishing the area and simply getting to know the region. This is particularly true for applicants who either have not fished the area or have only fished it a handful of times. The only way to learn the area’s waters sufficiently enough to offer customers good advice is to get out there and see the water, the hatches, and the scenery firsthand.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide advice on products.
- Assist customers with product selection and purchase decisions.
- Operate cash registers and process payments accurately.
- Maintain store shelves and displays to ensure they are well-stocked and organized.
- Ensure that the store is clean and tidy at all times.
- Assist with inventory management.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
