**Location**: Saint Agnes Medical Center, Fresno, CA

**Contract Tenure**: June 16, 2024 - September 14, 2024
Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs upon arrival to the Emergency Department.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and managing patient symptoms.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatment and interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Coordinate with ancillary departments and support services to facilitate patient care and ensure timely delivery of services.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and discharge instructions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
**Qualifications**:
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an acute care setting, preferably in an Emergency Department or critical care environment.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- TNCC certification preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
- Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends as needed.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.

Pay: $55.00 - $57.00 per hour
