We are seeking a highly motivated Brake Press Operator to run our new 350-ton brake press. As a Brake Press Operator at Robinson Machine, you will be responsible for setting up and safely operating a Manual Brake Press and Plate Roll to brake and form miscellaneous steel parts of the highest quality. This position also requires the use of measuring tools. This position reports to the Shop Foreman.

**What you’ll do**:

- Review project assignment/instructions from Team Leader.
- Review drawings and forming requirements for job.
- Obtain understanding of task and develop action plan.
- Set up machine and other required equipment.
- Supervise machines and make any adjustments to produce better results and maintain all required tolerances.
- Ensure work meets quality standards.
- Complete and maintain paperwork.
- Consistently look for ways to eliminate waste and improve processes.
- Practice safety in all aspects of the job.
- Look for safety issues with equipment and processes.

**What you bring**:

- A combination of training and machine experience is required for this position.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Read and understand Robinson detail drawings, blueprints, and shop travelers.
- Good math skills, problem solving skills and attention to detail.
