Desert Cleaning specializes in commercial office cleaning, serving a large, well-diversified variety of commercial buildings across Tucson and surrounding areas. Desert Cleaning is known for its solid reputation, high level of service and commitment to the Tucson community.

**JOB SUMMARY**:
This position requires you to clean at an office building in the Grant & Wilmot area. The building is serviced 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday).

**JOB SPECIFICATIONS**:

- $15.00 per hour.
- 7.5 hours total per week **(additional hours are possible for other buildings).**:

- Able to work Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights starting at 5:00 pm and must be done by 10:00 pm.
- This is a great starting point in our company.

**PRIMARY JOB DUTIES**:

- Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
- Service, clean and supply kitchens.
- Gather and empty trash, replacing liner if needed.
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Mix water and detergents or in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
- Notify supervisors or managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.
- Clean and polish fixtures.
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment.
- Monitor building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after operating hours or checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.

**TO BE CONSIDERED, YOU MUST**:

- Pass a background check

- Able to fill out an I-9 form
- Must have a full time job or other income
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Own a working vehicle
