**Functional Summary**:
**This position is a direct report to the Postech/Inventory manager. The Postech lead installer is responsible for the installation of all products provided through our Postech Pile franchise in Southern Vermont. This position is responsible for easy to medium layout on projects. This position is also responsible for the safe and efficient operation of small to medium sized mini excavators to facilitate the installation of the Postech screw piles. This position has direct contact with our customers and is responsible for ensuring that the customer has a positive experience with our service. This position also will have a laborer with them on certain jobs and will be responsible for directing that individual.**

**Key Responsibilities**:
The responsibilities of the Postech Lead installer are, but are not limited to:

- Takes direction from Postech/Inventory Manager to direct crew
- Works with, directs and trains new labor force job-specific skills:

- Clearly communicates goals & objectives of each individual onsite
- Conducts in-field, on the job training with members of the team
- Completes layout for simple to moderate complexity of projects
- At the start of each shift, assist with preparing materials for each day’s work
- LEADERSHIP by example:

- Clear communication with co-worker’s and subordinates
- Keeps equipment maintained, and the worksite clean and organized
- Assist with tracking and maintaining material inventory required to perform project tasks. Notifies Postech/Inventory Manager, in advance, when additional materials need to be ordered
- Puts an emphasis on the company’s safety objectives
- Promotes, executes, and adheres to the company’s safety manual, and encourage all employees to adopt company’s safety culture
- Participate in weekly safety meetings

**Qualifications**:
**Education, Training and certifications**
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Valid Driver’s License - Required

**Work Experience**
- 2 years’ experience in the excavation trades

**Technical Knowledge**
- Ability to self-manage
- Ability to read plans
- Complete site layout with little to no assistance
- Total Station knowledge is a plus but not required

**Working Conditions**
- Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, extreme temperatures, and work sites will have uneven and inconsistent work surfaces
- Must be able to regularly lift 50 LBS and on occasion lift 100 LBS
- Kneeling and bending is regularly required
- Travel and Overtime may be required
- Working at height
- Drug and Alcohol use will not be permitted during working hours

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
