Description:
**Responsibilities**:

- Process and maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable and payable transactions.
- Monitor account balances, follow up on overdue payments, and handle customer inquiries promptly.
- Initiate collection efforts for delinquent accounts and maintain professional customer interactions.
- Assist with general office operations, including managing office supplies and equipment.
- Load data into the new ERP system (Epicor) and assist in reconciling insurance bills with payroll records.
- Support HR with administrative tasks, payroll support, and record maintenance as needed.
- Conduct daily cash account reconciliations and monitor weekly cash balances.
- Manage weekly check runs, and handle tax-related duties including issuing 1099 forms.
- Post monthly journal entries and assist with general ledger accounting, audit preparation, and reconciliations.

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years of related experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable with making collection calls.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Comfortable with making collection calls.
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly Epicor - Preferred but not necessary.
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
