Title: Nursery Assistant

Overview:
Are you a plant lover? Do you long to spend your days outdoors in nature? Join our team Responsibilities would include rigorous plant care, some customer service, loading and unloading plant material, and site maintenance

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Plant care including identification pruning, watering, and fertilization
- Loading plant material and hard goods into customer vehicles
- Unloading plant material from delivery trucks
- Assist with visual merchandising plan, design and implementation
- Maintaining a clean facility including weeding, sweeping, and pressure washing if able

Qualifications:

- Currently pursuing or completion of a degree in horticulture or a related field preferred, not required
- Strong attention to detail
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-driven learner
- Must be able to lift and move 50lbs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Internship

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Greenhouse & Nursery Growers: 1 year (preferred)
- Horticulture: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- Spanish and English (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Forest Park, IL (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- Forest Park, IL: Relocate before starting work (required)
