IT Support Technician

Shield HealthCare is looking for an** Information Systems Analyst **responsible for project deliverables regarding the implementation of companywide/enterprise projects. The position serves as the link between the business units ensuring that system issues, changes, and enhancements are investigated prior to programming.

**This is an on-site position in Valencia, CA.**

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Document and analyze current business processes when / where IT change is requested.
- Develop and maintain documentation such as business system process diagrams and training materials.
- Work with business customers to create use cases for software development or IT operational projects.
- Responsible for planning and implementing product testing.
- Responsible for software testing and quality assurance activities.
- Evaluate software for release readiness and report defects to software developers.
- Communicate project status and progress to team members and stakeholders.
- Work with business customers to develop and implement detailed training and change management plans.
- Provide post-go-live warranty support to business customers.
- Make business process change recommendations for improvement (senior level).
- Oversee implementation projects from beginning to completion (senior level).
- Provide support to end-users and resolve issues in a timely manner.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 2+ years of Business Systems Analyst or Systems Analyst experience, or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in management information systems or information science a plus.
- Robust computer proficiency.
- Strong ability to learn and understand business processes, document business process requirements, and interpret them into future technology solutions.
- Brilliant written and verbal communication skills; understands how and when to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
- Superb relationship management skills.
- Solid presentation skills in front of small groups, including mid
- and senior-level management.
- Excellent analytic and organizational skills.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Experience working in agile development a plus.
- Project Management Institute (PMI) training / certification(s) or equivalent a plus.
- Ability to travel as needed (less than 5% of the time).
