Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our medical/surgical team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a medical/surgical setting. This is a full-time position with various shifts available.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patients' vital signs, symptoms, and progress
- Assist with procedures such as catheterization and dialysis
- Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or memory care needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
- Utilize electronic medical record systems (EMR) to accurately document patient information and maintain records
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
- Perform venipuncture and collect laboratory specimens as needed

**Requirements**:

- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care or medical/surgical setting
- Proficiency in medication administration and knowledge of common medications used in medical/surgical care
- Experience with catheterization, dialysis, dementia care, and memory care is preferred
- Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) commonly used in medical/surgical settings
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional patient care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to make sound clinical judgments
