We are a commercial general contractor that specializes in the development and building of class "A" self storage; hospitality and medical facilities. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager/ Engineer to join our ZZONE Construction family. Our workload continues to expand, and we are searching for the right individual to help our organization succeed and grow. Our project size is in the neighborhood of $10M-$25M in scope and size.
- **Overview of Project Manager/ Engineer Responsibilities**:_
- Job Costing and estimating of new and added value construction scope of work.
- Assist the Superintendent and throughout entire construction project.
- Have a working knowledge of how to prepare quantity take-offs for materials.
- Update and maintain construction schedule.
- Research, order, and track construction materials.
- Issue Invitations to Bid and distribute plans and contract documents to obtain subcontractor bids.
- Work with PM's to prepare and send out Subcontract Agreements.
- Participate in meetings, take and distribute notes.
- Prepare and maintain RFI and submittal logs.
- Maintain good relationships with the owner, architect, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, municipal authorities and company personnel involved with the project.
- Possess working knowledge of all project plans, specifications, owner contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, daily correspondence, shop drawings, submittals, and all other project related documents, and maintain a complete and accurate set of as-builts.
- Prepare/review/distribute submittals and shop drawings.
- May at times provide timely project updates to the client and architect.
- Distribute and manage Subcontract Agreements and Purchase Orders.
- Assist project manager/ superintendents to update and follow-up with project Punch Lists with the architect and construction team.
- Assure that all product info, warranties, site and building as-built drawings, etc. are copied, archived, and assembled into project O & M Manual.
- Assure that Project Closeout procedures and archival is followed for all projects.

Abilities:

- Strong ability to act as our company's representative.
- Ability to perform as a team player yet work independently
- this position requires the ability to juggle multiple tasks, strong time management skills to prioritize and problem solve to meet project time constraints.
- Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints/ architectural drawings and specifications for your level.
- Strong ability to communicate with other trades and customers.
- Ability to operate personal computers, calculators and other office equipment efficiently; Must be proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word and project management software.
- Ability to follow filing systems and procedures.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Strong ability to be enthusiastic, persistent, self-motivated and disciplined.
- Ability to give substantial attention to detail, be accurate and thorough and to work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently to plan and accomplish tasks with limited supervision.
- Strong ability to use good judgment in decision making.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with other employees, customers and suppliers.
- ProCore software experience preferred.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
