We are seeking applicants to occupy the position of **Mainframe Systems Programmer **within our **NYC Financial Information Services** team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- FISA-OPA has a vacancy for a z/OS Systems Programmer whose primary responsibility will include:

- Ongoing maintenance (install, patching, upgrades, administration, etc.,) of the mainframe z/OS operating system, accompanying storage systems and systems software products (e.g., database, transaction server, security management, scheduling, report distribution, etc.), and UNIX Systems Services.
- Upgrades of mainframe and related storage.

**Mandatory Qualifications**:

- 10+ years of experience working with z/OS, JES2, SMP/E, TSO, IOCP/HCD. Basic IBM utilities (IDCAMS, IEFBR14, etc.) program product installations, working knowledge or the IBM virtual tape system and Unix System Services.
- Experience in using monitoring tools such as OMEGAMON.
- Working with an enterprise wide, large scale implementation.
- Excellent communications skills (Oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills are required.

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of experience in relevant technical field is required.

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Working knowledge of CICS, IMS, DB2 and AFP printing is a plus.
