- Assist healthcare provider with patient examinations and procedures
- Administer injections as directed by healthcare provider
- Take and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and weight
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urine dipsticks
- File charts, make copies, fax paperwork
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and answering phones
- Assist with patient education by providing information on medications, procedures, and follow-up care
- Venipuncture/Phlebotomy a plus *

Qualifications:

- Completion of a medical assistant training program required
- Proficiency in medical administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing electronic health records (EHR)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent patient service and communicate effectively with healthcare providers and patients
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
