Heavy Equipment Operator

John Smith Landfill, a Waste Connections company, has an immediate position available for a **Heavy** **Equipment Operator** at our operation in Hollister, CA.
The primary duties of this job is operating : Excavator, Loader, Dozer, compactor. Class B CDL is preferred.***
The schedule will be **4 days per week, 10 hour days**, plus some overtime. The schedule will include either a Saturday or Sunday.
The starting pay rate will be **$32/hour. **The pay range for this job category is $32-41/hour. We also offer great family benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid vacation etc.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Proficient in operating all yellow iron on site.
- Operating Dozer, Compactor, Excavator, ADT, Loaders, Backhoes, and Roll off Trucks
- Loading recycle materials in a hopper
- Pushing up piles of yard debris, rubble
- Responsible for equipment inspection
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Class B CDL highly preferred. Clean driving record required.
- Ability to be self directed as well as work in a team environment
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
