Distribution Operations Associate- Floater

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, understanding their needs, and recommending appropriate products.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Assist customers in locating products within the store and provide product information and pricing.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and stock shelves accordingly.
- Pick and pack orders for customer pickup or delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock counts, identifying discrepancies, and reporting findings to management.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and Offload trucks and occasionally route and dispatch AWISCO trucks.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the store, cylinder dock, and warehouse.
- Perform other related duties as necessary.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail or warehouse setting.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
- Ability to lift 50lb objects without assistance and operate warehouse equipment safely.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license (required).

- Frequently required to lift/push/carry items more than 50 pounds
- Frequently work near moving mechanical parts

- Specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used: Pallet Jacks and Forklift

Pay: $20.00 - $24.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 - 44 per week
