As Surgical Coordinator, you will be the main contact for our surgical patients and play a crucial role in ensuring their experience is outstanding from the moment they contact our office. You will be responsible for coordinating appointments, handling patient inquiries, and providing support to our authorization and billing depatments to ensure the smooth flow of patient care.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Liaison to patients from initial phone call, through office consultation, follow-up communications, procedures and postop progress. Coordinate pre and post operative appointments and medical clearances
- Schedule all office based and hospital procedures and surgeries at various hospitals
- Work with the authorization and billing department to verify patients’ eligibility and coverage.Assist with handling pre-authorization processes as needed
- Prepare surgery documentation and collect all necessary paperwork prior to procedure
- Assist patients with collecting required paperwork, documentation, insurance information and payments
- Provide patients with accurate information about their treatments, procedures and financial responsibilities
- Review pre-and post-procedure instructions with patients.
- Strong organizational and sales skills.
- Knowledge of digital and social media is a plus.
- Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks and perform other job-related duties as assigned

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
