ROAD to RESOLUTION - Divorce Mediation & Collaborative Family Law is seeking a self-motivated Legal Assistant/Junior Paralegal to manage the everyday operations of a small collaborative family law practice, including scheduling, case management, and client communication. This person will provide a broad spectrum of administrative and legal services under the supervision of an attorney.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide administrative support to two lawyers and enhance office effectiveness
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Type up and file basic legal form documents and correspondence
- Establish and monitor firm calendar and deadlines
- Calendar in-person and phone conference meetings with clients and other attorneys
- Obtain and summarize case information
- Establish and maintain case files

**Skills**
- Work experience as a legal assistant/secretary, executive assistant, or paralegal
- Excellent secretarial and organizational skills
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Patient and mature demeanor
- Proficiency in Word and Excel
- Familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols, and the court system
- Working knowledge of basic software and/or the ability to quickly learn it (primarily using Dropbox, Clio, Google Drive)
- Ability to juggle multiple activities, work under pressure, and work independently

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
