Assistant Dockmaster

**Overview**:
The **City of Lewes **is seeking applicants who are committed to public service excellence for the seasonal position of Assistant Dockmaster.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with the management and oversight of the Canalfront Marina and City Dock. -Following the Operations and Maintenance Plan, the Delaware Clean Marinas Program and local ordinances for the safe, healthy and appropriate usage of the marina and docks.

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge and experience in marina functions and operations
- Knowledge and experience in basic marina equipment operations
- Knowledge and experience in watercraft operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office programs
- Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed

This is a seasonal position that will begin in May of 2024 and will run through October of 2024. Schedules will vary and include a combination of day, nigh, weekend, and holiday hours.

Pay: From $17.64 per hour

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Rotating shift
- Rotating weekends

Ability to Relocate:

- Lewes, DE 19958: Relocate before starting work (required)
