**Job Summary**:
Under the supervision of the Head Golf Professional, responsible for the sale of pro shop items, collection of fees, registration of players, and booking of tee times while maintaining a high level of customer service in accordance with company policies.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Answer the telephone and take starting time reservations.
- Collect all money for green fees, programs, rental and pro shop sales. Issue receipts for all transactions.
- Maintain general order and cleanliness in the pro shop daily.
- Maintain daily records and reports.
- Maintain accurate inventory and receive inventory.
- Always remain courteous with patrons.
- Perform all job tasks safely within the rules and company policies outlined in the employee handbook.
- Work as a team player with co-workers and in conjunction with other departments.

**Knowledge, skills, and abilities**:

- Demonstrated skills in the proper handling of money.
- Working knowledge of basic computer programs.
- Ability to work unsupervised.

**Physical requirements**:

- Communicate verbally with staff members and/or customers
- Give and/or follow verbal and written instructions.
- Visually inspect and clean all work areas.
- Standing for long periods of time
- lifting of 50lbs occasionally and 20lbs frequently
- pulling /pushing of doors and furniture

**Qualifications**:

- High School diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of six months’ experience as a cashier or salesclerk.
- General knowledge of the game of golf.
- Neat and professional appearance and demeanor.
- Good communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
