Electro-mechanical Assembler

The Electro-Mechanical Assembler will be performing services, full-time and on site. They responsible for assembly, installation, troubleshooting and repairing of mechanical, electrical, and electronic assemblies and systems. Work includes in-house production of new items and diagnosing returned materials, and support to with setups, installations, testing, certification, and repairs.

High School Diploma or equivalent; ESD Material handling and solder certifications; Four years experience as an electronics assembler preferred; Conformal coating, potting, encapsulation, cable harness assembly, rack or chassis configuration and assembly. Technical experience and/or military technical training is acceptable.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assembles and modifies sub-assemblies, final assemblies and systems per manufacturing drawings and instructions.
- Install firmware.
- Attach correct labels to the products and various subassemblies.
- Perform bench tests and environmental tests and report any test failures or issues encountered.
- Performs required repairs to return unit to operational state.
- Operates oscilloscopes, signal generators, meters, power supplies, and test fixtures, and understands their use and function.
- Operates hand tools and small power tools and understands their use and function.
- May conduct detailed engineering or experimental testing.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 4 years of experience in electronic and mechanical product assembly and testing preferred.
- Technical training and certification preferred.
- Professional, clear verbal and written communication.
- Dexterity with hand tools, hand soldering equipment, and other typical electronic assembly tools.
- Proficiency in following documented work instructions and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate well with peers and supervisors.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., work with hands overhead, and adhere to safety regulations.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
