We are seeking dedicated, patient, and experienced In-Person and Online Special Needs Tutors to join our team on a contract basis in Los Angeles.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create and implement personalized learning plans to meet the specific needs, strengths, and goals of each student.
- Track and document student progress, modifying learning plans as necessary to ensure continued educational development.
- Foster a supportive, positive, and safe learning environment, encouraging student engagement and participation.
- Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and the academic team on student progress and concerns.
- Adapt to various teaching environments, including in-home and online settings.
- Stay informed on the latest educational practices and tools for teaching students with special needs.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or related field.
- Valid teaching credential preferred when applicable.
- Proven experience with special needs students is highly preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of diverse teaching methods and educational strategies for students with various learning disabilities.
- Exceptional communication, patience, and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to travel to students' homes for in-person sessions and capability to conduct effective online tutoring sessions.
- Availability to commit to a contract position with variable hours.

**Contract Details**:

- Tutors will need to have reliable transportation for travel to students’ homes within the Los Angeles area.
- Tutors must have access to a reliable internet connection and a computer for online teaching sessions.
