Purchasing Agent

**Job Duties include, but are not limit to**:

- Process purchasing requisitions, issue purchase requests and quotes, and track PO confirmations and deliveries.
- Update and maintain purchase order log.
- Conduct pricing comparisons between vendors, and request estimates for materials.
- Communicate with foreman on eta/options involving purchased items.
- Provide product and pricing updates to project and estimating teams.
- Develop new relationships and maintain existing relationships with vendors.
- Meet deadlines for delivery to jobsites for materials ordered.
- Accurately and efficiently processing invoicing when they arrive.
- Load and unload trucks with forklift and/or pallet jack as needed.
- Receive materials, confirm quantities against purchase orders, BOL or BOM, return/exchange any discrepancies/damaged material, and track backorders.

**Experience needed but not required**:

- **Electrical Industry** experience
- Above average computer skills and experience with computer programs (Word, Excel, Work, Access etc.)
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
- Should be self-motivated and self-starter.
- Should be able to communicate ideas and instructions clearly.
- Should be able to work well with others and be well organized.
- Forklift experience (Company will provide training/licensing)

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
