**Job Summary**:
The role of the Warehouse Worker is responsible for preparing and receiving orders. You will work with other departments such as Packaging, Factory, and/or Production to ensure the products are shipped out in a timely manner. This position performs and follows a standard procedure that helps with the consistent rotation of shipping, receiving stock/products, to stocking into our inventory.

**Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
- Complete diary logs into inventory.
- Report any discrepancies.
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
- Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork.
- Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures.
- Reporting any damaged or missing goods to the Warehouse Supervisor or leads.
- Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods.
- Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules, and schedules.
- Assisting with warehouse inventory controls, which typically involves using a hand-held scanner.
- Additional duties, as assigned.

**Required Competencies**:

- Observing and abiding by all safety regulations when conducting work duties as required by General Tool, Inc. and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
- Wearing steel toe boots, safety glasses, safety vest, and other safety equipment, as when working in the facility and/or operating machinery.
- Follow instructions and responds to management’s directions and/or feedback.
- Completes tasks on time or notifies the appropriate person with an alternate plan.
- Approaches others in a tactful manner and treats everyone with respect and courtesy.
- Balances team and individual responsibilities.
- Basic competency in using a computer.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Extremely detailed-oriented and problem solver
- Consistent attendance and punctuality
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

**Physical and Mental Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work and sustain attention with distractions and/or interruptions.
- Ability to interact appropriately with various individuals, including customers/clients.
- Ability to frequently lift to 25 - 50 lbs. / With a Team: frequently lift to 50 lbs. or more.
- Repetitive bending, reaching, and climbing.
- Ability to work in adverse working conditions: Warehouse environment and conditions.
- Erratic temperature control (Hot during summer, cold during winter)
- Operation of large equipment and machinery (i.e., production machines and forklifts)

**Job Qualifications**:

- At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US. (required)
- Minimum high school diploma (preferred)
- Need a reliable mode of transportation.

**Working hours**:7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday, Full-time,
