We are a full-service logistics company offering trucking, warehousing, and distribution services to the tri-state area. We are currently seeking a Systems & Logistics Coordinator to join our team.

This position will be primarily 50 % an IT based role and 50% logistics role. The IT portion will involve network maintenance, troubleshooting and hardware improvements throughout different buildings. It will also require basic Tier 1 help desk responsibilities. The logistics portion will be much more involved from a setup perspective as it will require major implementation initiatives. Coordinator will need to look at how the current systems are being used, identify the processes that need improved upon or are not being followed, develop training initiatives to resolve the shortcomings, lead the process change process and follow up to achieve goals.
- Maintain all company wiring, firewalls, switches, install network racks as needed and run wires. Responsible for new user setup installations. Install and Maintain Wi-Fi at all locations. (Unifi AP)
- VOIP management for 70 units CISCO. Responsible for maintaining and installing new phone. Manage internal company number routing
- Manage NVRs across all buildings including user access, playback requests, storage management. Approximately 20 units across buildings primarily Hikvision. Camera installations include direct connection, IP camera, HD over Coax, ONVIF. Know how to install cameras, terminate connections for both ethernet and RG9
- Manage all End Points primarily HP Linux thin clients. Install updates and maintain all other company Windows devices
- Mange the company TMS system (Profit Tools) and be in charge of all questions, issues and implementation. Create new users and monitor permissions. This system is about 70% complete and will require a lot of on site training to finish out the driver connectivity portion, billing process improvements, and other parts of the system not being fully utilized. Manage all current and future EDI connections.
- Maintain company QB connectivity with proper updates, user creation, and permission management
- WMS implementation including office usage as well as dock scanners. Mostly Zebra units. This system is about 5 % complete and will require almost a full implementation from start to finish.
- Depot Systems YMS system will be a future project and will require lots of on site training, follow up, and maintaining.
- Basic knowledge of customs processes to maintain the company AMS system, investigate any message failures and answer any questions.
- Responsible for maintaining all company printers (aside from a couple leased units), scanners, label printers, etc. Know how to do basic maintenance including roller and drum replacements.
- Monitor internet connectivity at all sites with a multitude of different providers
- Track and maintain all other various company systems equipment

Traveling to different sites NJ and one site in Valley Stream, NY.
