The Outbound Supervisor’s role is to provide the highest level of front-line customer service to Oak Harbor Freight Lines internal and external customers.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Lead, guide and direct dock employees as needed to include setting targets, monitoring performance, provide coaching, development, and to meet Company standards.
- Hold regular safety and communication meetings with employees.
- Prepare daily dispatch paperwork to include hazmat documentation.
- Responsible to meet all key performance indicators (KPI’s) assigned.
- Communicate with leaders, dockworkers, and customer service to troubleshoot freight delays or exceptions.
- Review and revise schedules to increase efficiencies and to lower cost.
- Enforce understanding and compliance with all Company policies and procedures, safety rules and government regulations.
- Report to the Operations Manager/Terminal Manager for other duties not listed.

**Experience, Skills, and Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cross-dock role, preferred.
- Ability to be successful in a fast pace and challenging environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong PC proficiency and experience using MS Office products. AS400 experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to organize multiple priorities and projects.
- H.S. diploma or GED preferred.
- Regular attendance is required.
