**Pool Service Tech Wanted** **(Hampton Bays)**

Big Blue Pools and Spas, a swimming pool service company based in Hampton Bays, NY, is now hiring for the upcoming swimming pool season. We're looking to hire to fill the role of pool service technician. In this role, the applicant will be exposed to all aspects of the pool service industry and acquire a wide variety of mechanical, customer service, and business development skills.

We are looking for someone that's a self-starter with effective time management skills that's also comfortable working on their own if necessary. Ideally, we are looking to develop a long-term relationship with the applicant and are willing to offer generous compensation as long as the applicant is willing to invest time/effort into the continued growth of the company and within themselves.

This job is seasonal in nature and will run from March/April through mid-November. A qualified applicant who succeeds in this role will be hired full-time for the Spring/Summer/Fall 2022 season as well.

**Responsibilities include; but are not limited to**:

- Assisting with pool openings / closings
- Assisting with filtration system / plumbing repairs
- Assisting with leak detection services
- Power vacuuming / weekly pool maintenance
- Water testing and chemical maintenance

**What we're looking for**:

- Motivated, self-starter with an interest in the pool service industry
- Experience vacuuming, skimming, and maintaining swimming pools
- An aptitude for mechanical, service-oriented work in a team atmosphere
- A fondness for doing physical work outdoors
- Ability to establish a positive rapport with customers and employees

**What we require**:

- Valid driver’s license
- His/her own transportation and a clean driving record
- Prior work experience with at least one reference

**Salary**: Based on Experience
