**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Retail Associate to join our team. As a Retail Associate at SafeHaven Smoke Shop, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining store operations, and contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- _**Customer Service**:_ Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding the products they need. Provide knowledgeable recommendations and answer any questions about our products.
- _**Sales**:_ Drive sales through effective communication, product knowledge, and engaging customer interactions. Upsell and cross-sell products to enhance the customer experience.
- _**Product Knowledge**:_ Stay updated on the latest products, trends, and regulations in the tobacco and vaping industry. Attend training sessions as required.
- _**Store Maintenance**:_ Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked. Perform regular inventory checks and restock shelves as needed.
- _**Cash Handling**:_ Operate the cash register, handle transactions accurately, and manage cash flow. Follow all cash handling procedures.
- _**Compliance**:_Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements, including age verification for tobacco and vaping product sales.
- _**Team Collaboration**:_Work effectively with team members to achieve sales goals, maintain store standards, and create a positive work environment.
- _**Problem Resolution**:_ Address customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner. Escalate complex issues to management when necessary.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions.
- Knowledge of hemp, tobacco, and vaping products is a plus.
- Must be at least 18 years old.

Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
