**Position Summary**:
The Billing Coordinator of the OMHC is responsible for the billing operations of the organization. They coordinate with other departments to ensure the accuracy of invoices, correspond with clients to follow up on outstanding payments, and resolve any billing related issues.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Make and take calls to insurance and clients regarding copays, deductibles, payments, rates, authorizations, and eligibility.
- Place and receive telephone calls from insurance companies and churches to discuss appropriate rates, authorization, and eligibility.
- Submit claims to the insurance company for review.
- Ascertain the most current and correct insurance rates.
- Keep track of monies owed to us by the clients as well as insurance companies.
- Charge client copays.
- Prepare invoices and update client records.
- Manage the status of the account and balances and identify inconsistencies.
- Receive and sort incoming payments with attention to credibility.
- Obtain new authorizations for clients through various insurance portals, via phone, and fax.
- Manage authorizations and assist Intake with authorization questions/issues.
- Assist team members when needed.

**Qualifications**
- Demonstrated ability to work within diverse settings and populations
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Experience in the field or in a related area. OMHC experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Incedo preferred, but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
