Position Summary:
Inspect components, sub-assemblies and finished medical devices to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards. Sample, analyze, and monitor product quality in accordance with established protocols.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Perform dimensional and visual inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies and finished product using precision inspection tools and various physical, mechanical, and electrical measurement techniques.
- Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing.
- Accept or reject parts based on outcomes of the inspections. Follow Non Conformance Procedures on rejected parts.
- Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.
- Monitor tools and equipment to ensure proper operation and calibration.
- Support the creation and revision of inspection plans and procedures, as needed.
- Evaluate problems and make recommendations for possible corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate, legible records (GDP) and good manufacturing procedures (GMP).
- Work with production management and Quality Assurance to provide feedback to assemblers regarding accuracy of assembly procedures.
- Perform review of Device History Records and other documentation for compliance to established procedures and Good Documentation Practices.
- Participate as a team member with Quality Assurance and Production members providing feedback in a constructive manner thereby promoting the Trice Medical quality values and company values.
- Ensure proper gowning and cleanroom protocol throughout each work day.

Education, Training, Skills and Experience Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Good English written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong mathematics skills, especially in geometry.
- Mechanical aptitude. Excellent ability to read schematics and engineering drawings.
- 1+ years Quality Control Inspection experience in precision measurements.
- Expertise in using precision measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, optical comparator, height gauges, pin gauges and more.
- General proficiency of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Ability to lift and handle items of up to 50 lbs in weight.

Pay: Up to $20 to $25.00 per hour
