Health Information Supervisor

Compensation:
**_ Salary Range: $32.01 - $44.56 / hour_**- Pay for PRN positions is calculated differently than Full-Time, Regular Part-Time, and Part-Time positions. PRN Rates depend on the position and other factors, including years of experience, or shift commitment according to the department policy. PRN differential is added in certain positions._

**Responsibilities**:
**Position Overview**:
Able to perform a variety of duties to ensure efficient Health Information services. Ensure the maintenance of accurate and complete patient records. To function as a resource person to the department staff, control the activity within the department. Act as a liaison between the Medical Staff / Allied Health Professionals and the Medical Records Department Manager of Coding and Director of HIM. Assist with training, scheduling and overall management of HIM personnel.

Qualifications:
**Required**:

- High School Diploma or GED
- One year related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

**Preferred**:

- Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) Certification
- Associate Degree
- Three years’ experience in a hospital or medical setting with supervisory responsibilities
