Mechanical Pipe Fitter

**Job Title**: Filtration Installer / Plumber Installer / Plumber_ (100% Nation Wide Travel) (HDPE Fusion Technician)_

**Salary Range**:$22-$28/hour

Are you a skilled Plastics Mechanical Pipe Fitter with a knack for precision and expertise in process piping systems? Join our team as a process Pipe Fitter / Installer and play a vital role in the installation, of piping systems in commercial aquatic projects building water filtration systems for Zoo, Aquarium and Aquaculture settings. As a Fitter/Installer, you'll be responsible for planning pipe layouts, cutting, glueing and fusion welding plastic pipes, as well as assembling and installing hardware, valves, and fittings.. Collaborating closely with team members, you'll contribute to the successful completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols and industry standards. **Role and Responsibilities**:

- Water filtration systems fabrication and installation
- Operate heavy machinery as assigned
- Perform plumbing installation of PVC (schedule 80), HDPE, CPVC, and SS piping as assigned, including pipe supports.
- Perform Maintenance and repair work as assigned on company and client locations
- General construction work including plumbing, excavation, carpentry, fiberglassing, and metalwork.
- Product manufacturing, packaging, inventory, and delivery as assigned
- Follow precise directions and plans to complete daily tasks

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**:
The position requires 2+ years of LSS/water filtration fabrication experience or 3+ years of general construction crew experience, high school diploma or equivalent.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Skills required: clearly communicate goals and progress of projects to superiors in verbal and written form, attention to detail, plumbing, capable with general hand and shop tools common to such projects, sit/stand/bend/lift a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
- Working in Confined spaces
- Skills Preferred: Read & understand blueprints, facilities management, welding, glass/acrylic handling, aquatic exhibit eco-system management, basic lab skills/water testing, Certified LSS Operator, Certified Pool Operator.
