Job Description: Front Desk Associate

Key Responsibilities:
**Front Desk Reception**:

- Manage front desk duties during the second shift, welcoming customers and verifying their identification and age according to regulations.
- Ensure a smooth check-in process, creating a positive first impression for customers.

**Customer Interaction**:

- Greet customers as they enter the store during the evening shift, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
- Provide assistance and information to customers about the store's offerings and services.

**Cleaning and Organization**:

- Maintain a clean and organized store environment during the second shift.
- Regularly clean and sanitize surfaces, display areas, and equipment.
- Ensure that all cleaning and sanitation protocols are followed diligently.

**Stocking Shelves**:

- Receive and organize inventory shipments during the evening hours.
- Stock shelves with products according to inventory management procedures.
- Monitor product expiration dates and remove expired items promptly.

**Display Setup**:

- Set up and maintain attractive product displays to showcase the variety of products available during the second shift.
- Ensure that all product information and pricing are accurately displayed.

**Customer Assistance**:

- Assist customers in making informed decisions about products during the evening hours.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide guidance on product selection.
- Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately.

**Compliance with Regulations**:

- Develop and maintain a basic understanding of local and state regulations related to the sale of products.
- Adhere to age verification and identification procedures.
- Ensure that all transactions comply with legal requirements during the second shift.

**Requirements**:
**Valid Identification and Age Verification (IIC) Card**:
**Customer Service Skills**:

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service during evening hours.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor when interacting with customers.

**Organizational Skills**:

- Ability to maintain a well-organized and clean work environment during the second shift.
- Attention to detail in stocking shelves and setting up displays.

**Communication Skills**:

- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members during the second shift.
- Ability to convey information about products clearly and accurately.

**Adherence to Regulations**:

- Understanding and commitment to complying with local and state regulations governing the industry during the second shift.

Additional Preferred Qualification:
**Portuguese Language Proficiency**:

- Fluency in Portuguese may lead to the potential for an immediate raise, reflecting the value of language skills in enhancing customer engagement and satisfaction during the second shift.

**French Language Proficiency**:

- Fluency in French may lead to the potential for an immediate raise, reflecting the value of language skills in enhancing customer engagement and satisfaction during the second shift.

A Front Desk Associate with Portuguese or French language skills enhances our team's capabilities, contributing to a diverse and inclusive customer experience during evening hours. Fluency in Portuguese & French may result in an immediate raise, recognizing the significance of language proficiency in serving our diverse customer base during the second shift, including front desk reception duties.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 32 per week
