Construction Purchasing Agent

_**National fire and flood remediation company looking to add Construction Purchasing Agent to our team**_

The **Construction Purchasing Agent** will contract, buy out, solicit and quantify bids for our reconstruction projects. If you are self-motivated, organized and have outstanding purchasing skills, you could thrive in this environment

**Key Responsibilities**
- Evaluating suppliers by considering price, quality, availability and other criteria
- Interviewing vendors and visiting suppliers’ facilities to learn about products, services and pricing
- Negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best deals on behalf of the company
- Interacting with suppliers to schedule delivery times and resolve shipping errors
- Collaborate and assist with other departments, as needed

**Position Requirements**
- 5+ years of previous purchasing experience
- High school diploma/GED (preferred)
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Ability to multitask and to remain detail orientated

Pay: $100,000-$120,000/year
