**DUTIES**
- You will perform work that involves planning and coordinating the installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and/or maintenance of hardware or software systems.
- You will implement security plans, policies, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- You will provide ongoing optimization and problem solving support to minimize interruptions in customers' ability to carry out critical business activities.
- You will utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to verify operability, optimize the functionality of networks and/or systems, and to diagnose/recover failed systems

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:
**1) Developing and implementing configuration management plans for complex LANs and WANS;**

**2) Configuring network hubs, switches and routers as a network administrator;**

**3) Monitoring network performance and network traffic patterns;**

**4) Recommending hardware/software replacements or upgrades to meet current and future requirements; and**

**5) Identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities and risks.**

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT (Not Limited to)**:

- You will be required to maintain eligibility for a Top Secret clearance.
- This is a designated Information Assurance Officer (IAO) position. IAO certification is required.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.

Pay: $98,240.00 - $127,707.00 per year
