Overview:
WMU Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine is looking for a Longitudinal Curriculum Coordinator to join the Educational Affairs team. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintains course data in the curriculum management system (and related systems) including event scheduling, room and resource scheduling, instructional content, learning objectives, student/instructor rosters per event, attendance, exams and grades.
- Maintains the student assessment and course evaluation process for all longitudinal courses.
- Communicates with course directors and other faculty for event scheduling and corresponding instructional content.
- Facilitates access to content including video/audio recordings of events.
- Maintains the process for tracking student absences, remediation, and notifications to students and faculty.
- Responds to inquiries from faculty, students, and administrators regarding course matters.
- Provides curricular support to course directors, educators, and faculty as needed.
- Trains and assists faculty, students, and other personnel on new teaching equipment.
- Gather faculty hours at the end of each term for each longitudinal course.
- Assist with facilitating LOA start and return for longitudinal courses.
- Review Course Calendars for longitudinal components prior to each calendar audit in preparation for the Integrations Committee and Curriculum Committee meetings.
- Create and maintain weekly schedules for Clinical Skills events, including entry of students and Clinical Skills Educators (CSEs.)Manage the logistics of 6 CS homerooms including faculty, learners, equipment, and SIM Center interface 2-4 afternoons per week.
- Assist SIM Center and CSEs with remediation planning for missed Clinical Skills events.
- Assign students into home rooms and maintain student assignments through LOA changes.
- Review Physical Exam and OSCE scores in Elentra, release grades to students, and maintain Physical Exam grades in SharePoint.
- Collaborate with the CSEs to assign Engagement and Professionalism scores to students each term.
- Collaborate with the Foundation and Graduate Program manager to oversee design and implementation of the Clinical Experience (CE) site visit schedule, including 8-10 community based sites.
- Create & maintain student and preceptor-facing documentation of CE policies and procedures.
- Work with site preceptors to track and document student absences for CE visits, including scheduling remediation.
- Work with site preceptors to document student CE performance; including recording positive interactions and documenting poor performance for follow-up.
- Acts as a liaison between the medical school and 8-10 CE sites, serving as the point of contact for all student and site preceptors.
- Assist the Principles of Medicine course director in preparation for Principles lectures; including room reservations, posting materials, preparing attendance tracking, printing paper copies of exams, providing payroll documents for guest lecturers, and arranging Teams links Build the Microsoft Teams Principles of Medicine Team and channels for each incoming cohort.
- Assist with technical support for all Principles events, including recording the event and archiving tor student access.
- Work with Engagement and Discovery directors to identify appropriate deadlines for assignments Build and run site preference lottery for Day of Service and term lotteries.
- Assist the Engagement and Discovery course directors in preparation for lectures; including room reservations, posting materials, preparing attendance tracking, providing payroll documents for guest lecturers, and arranging Teams links.
- Review Duty Hours submissions at the end of each term to verify students met their requirement.
- Assists in testing activities including serving as a proctor as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
**EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE**:

- Bachelor's degree in education, business administration or a related field preferred or three years in an administrative or educational setting.
- Experience with Apple technology preffered.
- Experience with electronic multimedia (video and audio) formats preferred and other instructional technology.
