LOCATION(S): ALBANY, GEORGIA

The selectee for this position will serve as a Supply Technician in Logistics Support Division, Garrison Supply Branch at Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany, Georgia.

DUTIES: (not all-inclusive list)
- Provide consumer level supply support for the installation IAW Department

of the Navy and Marine Corps orders and other supply directives.
- Assists with maintaining 100% property accountability of a multi-million-dollar value

of government property utilizing Global Combat Support System Marine Corps (GCSS-MC)

and Defense Property Accounting System (DPAS).
- Compiles the information to be included from a variety of sources and takes necessary

action to reconcile discrepancies. Performs a variety of transactions including issues,

turn-ins, loans, and/or similar transactions requiring the addition/deletion of property

to maintain accurate property accounting records.
- Prepares and maintains support files, hand receipts, and property records for cradle to grave accounting of government assets. Identifies potential discrepancies and resolves problems. Reconstructs records to support transactions.
- Conduct causative research to resolve discrepancies. Research different areas of databases

and files to extract data to resolve data discrepancies, respond to questions, provide status,

verify information and other related functions.
- Incumbent performs the maintenance and oversight of theDPAS Custodian Asset Report

(CAR) for assigned Responsible Officer (RO) accounts.
