**What We are Looking For**: We are currently interviewing for dynamic support technicians to join our IT Support Team (Level 2, Level 3, and Service Lead). **About Us**: We are a rapidly expanding MSP dedicated to providing reliable technology solutions to commercial customers in the NJ area for over 15 years. We provide technical assistance and support to various office sizes in multiple business sectors.

**About the Job**: Our Technical Support Specialists are the front lines of the company. Technical Support Specialists work closely with the IT Support Team providing valuable insight and effective solutions for our clients’ technical support needs.

As part of our support team, you will be assessing and diagnosing computer hardware and software issues and train users in basic system and computer functions, while maintaining clearly documented resolutions. We believe everyone brings something unique to the table and look for opportunities for our team members to contribute to various company and client related projects.

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Must be able to work well with a team, bring ideas and suggestions to the group, and support other team members.
- Communication skills-must be able to convey ideas clearly, listen actively, and write professionally.
- Ability to deescalate frustration levels with end-users that are having difficulties.
- Embrace change-learn quickly and adjust to new situations and technologies.
- Proven experience as a IT Support Technician or similar role-experience in an MSP environment (preferred but not required).
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows Server), and software troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Active Directory administration and Group Policy Objects (GPO)

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop systems, software, and hardware issues
- Collaborate with IT team to ensure smooth operation of the organization's computer systems
- Respond to user inquiries and provide excellent customer service in a timely manner-Our troubleshooting takes place over the phone Answering incoming calls and communication over the phone is a must
- Set up and troubleshoot network connections, including LAN and wireless connections
- Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory
- Assist with software installations, updates, and patches
- Perform software troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve issues
- Provide support for mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets
