**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Supply Chain Administration & Support (70%)**
- Review templates for work orders and manufacturing orders
- Update job order and manufacturing order templates
- Monitor job/manufacturing orders through their life cycle and report delays, including vendor deliveries and any shortages
- Review and verify stock availability to mitigate project delays
- Close job/work orders using ERP system
- Periodically participate in coordination meetings
- Review released product drawings and update part revisions using ERP system
- Modify existing procedures and forms, as required
- Occasionally pickup and deliver products to vendors and customers, as required
- Coordinate with shipping & receiving for the transport of components and assemblies to and from vendors for repairs and services
- Communicate effectively
- Assist in planning and prioritizing projects and routine tasks
- Analyze current orders, upcoming orders and help identify potential bottlenecks and implement mitigation processes
- Use multi-tasking skills to provide a real-time daily status spreadsheet while accepting and closing out work requests
**Purchasing & Procurement Support (25%)**
- Generate Requests for Quotes (RFQs), customer quotes, repair orders, work orders, and purchase orders
- Track and understand market for purchasing needs
- Reviews requisitions and issues purchase orders using ERP system
- Generate job travelers for work orders
- Input new vendors, update existing vendors, and monitor vendor information using ERP system
- Purchases items as requests and necessary
- Interview suppliers to obtain information concerning product, price, and ability to produce product of service, and delivery date
- Assess supplier bids and recommend selection based on price, quality, delivery, and capability
**General Support (25%)**
- Monitor and report purchase/manufacturing order costs and discrepancies
- Assist and participate in audits, as needed
**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate in a clerical setting, routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc.
**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE**
- Up to 1 year of general/clerical work experience
- Proficient knowledge of database use and report queries
- Proficient knowledge of repair, manufacturing, and purchase orders systems using an ERP system
**PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE**
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and parts/items requirements
- Working knowledge of an enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
**SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT**
- Subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. A SECRET, TS, or TS/SCI clearance may be required.
