We are looking for empathetic, patient, RNs, with a calm demeanor who exude a positive attitude even in difficult situations. Our homes need nurses that have strong critical thinking skills and who pay close attention to detail both in providing patient care and maintaining accurate, complete health care records.

The goals we have for our nurses are to maintain a homelike, caring environment for our residents while fostering teamwork. The houses have a full kitchen at your disposal and ample restrooms.

Positions hiring currently for:

- **FT Tuesday and Wednesday NOC and every other weekend DAY**:

- **PT Every other weekend DAY Shift**

Job Summary:
Provides for the safety, emotional, and physical comfort of the residents. Performs routine nursing duties and procedures. Delivers this care utilizing the judgment and specialized skills of a Registered Nurse (RN).

Essential functions:

- Perform all functions within the scope of practice.
- Resolve difficult or complicated challenges in a positive, productive manner.
- Perform routine nursing duties, including, but not limited to:

- Taking and recording vital signs
- Comfort, grooming, and hygiene needs
- Diet management, i.e. Gastric tube feeding, Nasogastric tubes, Total Parenteral nutrition
- Collecting specimens
- Patient activities: provide age-appropriate play/activities for development
- Medication administration
- IV maintenance. Includes routine assessments of all IV sites including PICC, Central lines, and Ports to ensure proper function and monitor insertion sites
- Wound care
- Deliver nursing care to patients that require the judgment and specialized skills of a Registered Nurse (RN) in consistent with the physician's orders.
- Perform skilled nursing procedures where training, demonstration of skills, and the state Nurse Practice Act permits
- Observe, report, and record any changes in the patient's condition in a timely manner. Diligently attend to details and pursue quality in accomplishing tasks.
- Assist with patient admission and discharge.
- Communicate efficiently and effectively with physicians.
- Identify, collect, and organize data for analysis and decision-making.
- Diplomatically handle challenging or tense interpersonal situations.
- Document required information in the medical chart of nursing notes, vital signs, seizure record, medication record, treatment record, parent contact form and other required forms for care.
- Display an ongoing commitment to learning and self-improvement by attending mandatory staff meetings, participating in in house in-services, and/or completing continuing education classes relevant to nursing when necessary.
- Take personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work and achieve results with mínimal oversight.
- Adapt to changing business needs, conditions, and work responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Current Arizona RN License Required
- Current CPR card
- Class 1 fingerprint clearance card must be able to present when hired.
- Additional qualifications/certifications needed within 3 months for both RNs and LPNs (Article 9, Prevention and Support, Trach/Vent class)

Job Requirements:

- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must abide by company policies and procedures.
- Must be able to maintain a class 1 fingerprint clearance card must be able to present when hired.
- Must be capable of performing a 50-pound weight lifting test

**Salary**: $34.45 - $43.99 per hour
