Eeg Technician

**Position : EEG Tech**:

- **Location : Austin, TX**:

- **Duration : 13 Weeks**:

- **Shift : 7pm - 7am**

Job Summary:
**Duties**:

- Prepare patients for EEG procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions
- Monitor and record brain activity during EEG procedures
- Recognize and document any abnormalities or artifacts in the EEG readings
- Collaborate with physicians to interpret test results and provide accurate reports
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited EEG program preferred
- Certification as an EEG Technician is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy
- Familiarity with CT scans and their impact on EEG readings
- Proficient in diagnostic evaluation techniques
- Ability to accurately monitor vital signs during procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to recognize abnormalities in EEG readings
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: $1,008.00 - $1,440.00 per week

**Experience**:

- EEG Tech: 2 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- EEG (preferred)
- BLS Certification (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- Austin, TX: Relocate before starting work (required)
