**Mathematics Teacher**

We are looking for a qualified Mathematics Teacher to prepare and/or teach students in Mathematics. You will prepare by teaching basic concepts and then teach students through various methods and materials. The goal is to help students develop their mathematical skills and understanding by helping them reach their potential and enjoying doing so.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop a thorough understanding of the material taught in class
- Follow the teaching plan set by the administration and monitor the class to ensure that all students are on track
- Create engaging and meaningful lessons with the students by using appropriate materials and techniques.
- Prepare and use various teaching materials (e.g., graphs, media, games, etc.)for the class.
- Evaluate the performance of the students to help them improve their skills.
- Monitor and maintain a healthy classroom environment, which includes ensuring that supplies are available and testing is complete.
- Meet or exceed established goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

- BS BS in Mathematics or related field preferred; MS MS in Mathematics is a plus.

Experience**:1 year of experience teaching elementary or middle school students preferred; Strong experience with using learning strategies such as assessment, observation, problem-solving, etc.; Knowledge of educational materials preferred; Knowledge of mathematics is a plus; Experience with using technology such as iPads tablets preferred; Ability to work with parents is a plusBenefits: Competitive salary based on experience; Medical insurance; Paid time off; Retirement plan; Opportunities for growth**
